The outsole is made from the Vibram® Siren™ TC5+ rubber which has specially designed pattern with deep lugs to provide you excellent traction on all types of wet and dry terrains. This shoes has the slip lasted construction and it weighs 10 ounces as per size 7.5. This is a GREAT sneaker! It’s so comfortable there’s no need to break them in. The color combination goes with just about anything, and the style will work with sweats, jeans, capris or shorts. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the dark trim color toe tip. It looks a little strange from the front, but it’s a nice look from the side and back (probably nit picky). Also the laces will sometimes loosen up and become untied with wear, so it would have been better if this sneaker was designed as a slip-on rather than a lace-up. Otherwise, the comfort and stylish look really can’t be beat!
I live in Texas where the weather changes daily during the spring. These shoes breath and keep my feet feeling dry all day. I am a veterinary technician in an emergency clinic and am on my feet constantly. They took absolutely no break in time, and they have pretty much not left my feet since I bought them. They are my Second pair of Merrells and I plan on buying more in the future. My first pair had the GoreTex outer layer and have been great for motorcycle rides and rough wear. I love this brand and will continue to be true to the brand.
I bought these shoes for my daughter for one of her Christmas gifts. She saw the shoes on my best friend, and fell in love with them. She loves both the look of the shoes as well as the fit. She was so excited when she opened her gift and saw that it was the shoes that she had been wanting. She is in nursing school and wanted these shoes to wear both to her classes and to her clinicals as she is on her feet all day.
I own several pail of comfortable Merrell shoes, but had not tried the athletic ones until I purchased this Siren Sport. It is wonderful…light weight, great arch support, and attractive. The color is more of a brown and pink…I like it! If your foot is a bit on the narrow side, it will fit perfectly. I do go a 1/2 size bigger than usual however. Since I’ve discovered Merrell shoes I just virtually have no pain from my plantar facitias. I don’t even wear orthotics anymore!
I’ve always loved the look of Merrells but never owned a pair. I went on-line and read the reviews which suggested ordering a half size larger. I’m glad I did. They are perfect! After a couple of walks around the block they were broken in and I simply love them. I don’t even know I have them on my feet they are so comfortable. Once my husband saw mine we had to order a pair for him. He loves his just as much as I do. They are a great all-around shoe.
This is my first pair of Merrells and I am very happy with them. The insole is great and feels much more comfortable than other athletic shoes I have had in the past. It is also a light shoe. I have a somewhat narrow foot (between narrow and medium width) and found that I get a good fit with the medium width by tying the laces a little tighter. I wish they had more color choices but I would definitely buy Merrells again.
These were my second pair of Merrells and now I am more impressed with this brand than ever. I have been wearing them around town and on trails and they are great. I stepped on some wet tiles and there wasn’t even a hint of slipping. I look forward to getting more Merrells like this in the future, they are really worth the price. From past experience, I already knew to buy these 1/2 size bigger because I would be wearing these with socks, and that gave me a perfect fit.
