Featured Review: (by Psalman), I’ve owned about 15 pair of Timberlands, and these are probably my all-time favorites. I’ve had them for about three years. I wear them more as a functional, work shoe than a stylish, casual shoe. The sole is wider than the shoe itself, so you won’t roll your ankle when hiking or walking on angled surfaces. Unlike the Oxford, the strip of leather at the top won’t tear when you cross your ankles. They aren’t as shiny as they appear online, and they do fade somewhat with heavy outdoor use, but even using a rub-on shoe shine can make them look new. My biggest complaint is that like all Timberland, the laces don’t stay tied. Buy these. You won’t regret it.

I went to exchange them at a store. It was 15 degrees out and i get to the store and its closed early for inventory. They wouldn’t let me in so now i had to take the shoes back home. VERY inconvenient and terrible customer service. Plus I called the store and the manager didn’t seem to care and she said i could always mail them back. Why would I do that when the shoes were at LEAST a size to big. They lost me as a customer and i was a good customer.
These are a bit more dull than the photo on the web and they look quite plain but they’re comfortable and timberland makes so few shoes in wide sizes, which is mainly why I chose this style. Please make more styles in wide sizes. Is 9W so uncommon that you only sell one style of dress shoe in that size?
I ordered three sizes of this shoe, and none of them seemed to fit comfortably. The first shoe felt as full size too big, but the full size smaller didn’t feel right in the arch. The half size felt a bit on the big side.
I had heel pain and wore inserts to help. I don’t need them with this shoe. It is very comfortable. I am on my feet at work most of the day and my feet are still ready to keep moving late into the afternoon. Great Shoe!
I bought these shoes at a Factory Outlet store and the salesperson made sure to recommend a 1/2 lower than I usually purchase in Timberland. She informed me the sizes in this shoe ran higher. Disregard all reviews complaining about sizing. Just get a 1/2 size lower and you’ll be fine. This is a great shoe!
As delivered (two examples) the size 10M for this round toe shoe has an internal length of 11.88 inches. The standard foot length for US size 10M is around 10.56 inches. The timberland size 10M is then (allowing for toe room) 0.75-1.00 inches too long internally. This is two extra sizes. Timberland has a serious problem with its sizing, at least for this model. Customer service was of no real help.
Our regular shoe we have ordered 3X’s in the past few years has been discontinued. We had a size problem when we ordered the new style. The new style shoe was 1/2 inch too big but was the same size we had ordered in the past.Reordered again. New pair is still a little big.
I bought the same or similar shoe 15 years ago. I wanted to replace it because after all this time they are still wearable, but getting close to the end. I measured my foot at a shoe store. size 10. Current Timberland shoe is a size 10. Ordered size 10 from you. It is a full 1/2″ longer than the old shoe. Too big.
I have bought the oxford style timberlands for years, no more. In the past they have been very durable, but now you either buy the lighter pair of the heavy with a vibram sole. Worse, they now have that long-toe, European, Bozo the clown look. Guys, why change the style of something that worked? Last pair I will buy.
