Featured Review: (by Frozen), Shoes have 3 major things that make them ideal for people like me, 1 the have the safety requirements required by or lab(steel toe, electrical resistance, and oil). 2 they don’t leave black marks on our floors, and 3 they have armored outer toe and a bumper-like piece for the heel for all those times you bump your foot against something that would normally nick scratch or mar your shoes, keeping them “nice-looking for a longer time. However the laces are always the 1st thing to go, they are strong and free moving (low friction) but they always break or wear threw their outer covering and than the outer part bunches up and the rope-looking strings stop you from tightening or tying your shoes and its hard to get a right sized shoe lace for these guys. The next thing to go (about 6 months of constant use is the inside heel part, this is caused by removing and putting on the shoe, not by wearing it, it wears a hole in the cushioning, about 2 months after that either the leather separates from the rubber or the rubber splits/cracks, this always happens on the “small toe side” of each shoe in 2 spots, one is where the steel toe piece ends and the other is two inches further back (the major flex points). The absolutely BEST thing about these shoes is they stay looking good under abuse longer than any of the other work shoe that I have bought and I get to spend up to $250 for any work shoe I want and as often as I need, so I have gone through 2 trash cans of work shoes (about $5,000 worth)I just recently threw them all away, because I wore them out to the point they were indecent. Remember when you look at all the other shoes on display, almost all of them are solid leather meaning you don’t get any air down there, or they have too much venting and as we know the venting is the weakest point on a shoe, more than likely it will rip or deform. Yah the tong slides to one side but only a little bit and it doesn’t require correction on your part, its realty just a look thing.

I bought a pair of these boots over a year ago and I absolutely love this shoe. It was a perfect fit a year ago and still is even today after a full years worth of wear and tear. This boot required no break in period as well. I finally worn the souls down to the point that they are not worth wearing in winter weather. *No traction left* As of 2011 I have ordered my second pair and when I put them on it was like nothing ever changed except for the fact that they were new and had full tread. The moment I put these boots on it felt perfect. No breaking in period as well. The second pair that I bought didn’t require any break in period either so I’m satisfied with this product in general. I still have the old pair and totally plan to keep them around for as long as they stay together to wear for messy work. The only thing I wish was that they offered a water proof version that was of the same styling and materials.

I have bought a pair of these 4 straight years. They are comfortable and allow my feet to breath but the “wide” is not wide enough. The stitching on the sides of the toebox lets go in 4 months. Everything else holds up well but….I can’t buy them again unless you make them wider.

I am a carpentry teacher and these are great work shoes. Inside the shop they keep your feet cool with thin wicking socks but keep your feet warm with polypro socks when outside framing. The vents keep my feet from sweating and then freezing. These are very comfortable work boots!

I freaking hate steel toe boots. I mean HATE! With a passion. Unfortunately in my last couple of jobs they have been required. Usually Steel toe boots rub my toes and make my feet hurt like crazy. Theses are better than most. Not perfect mind you; they are still steel toes. But…they are much more comfortable than most competitors. The 2 major drawbacks are they they are 1)hot and 2) the inside heel are

Very dissapointed in this shoe. They only lasted about 6 – 7 months tops. The shoes just started to fall apart at the stiching and the soles of the shoe are comming completely off. These shoes were horribly made. These shoes need to come down in price because as far as im concerned, I would not consider these to be a quality product.
